I've encountered the name of an act in law; can anyone help with an appropriate expansion of the abbreviations, please?

50 Geo III. c. 41

From what I can figure out from some searching, it is the parliamentary session of the 50th year of George III's reign, Chapter 41.

How exactly it should be said I do not know, but it appears to be what it means.

A variation to the info that Maria detailed above for: 50 Geo III. c. 41

How about:

The 41st Act passed during the session of Parliament held during the 50th year of the reign of George III

Extract from Wikipedia:

... thus the Union with Ireland Act 1800 is cited as "39 & 40 Geo. 3 c. 67", meaning the 67th Act passed during the session that started in the 39th year of the reign of George III and which finished in the 40th year of that reign.
