Here is The Villain - from A Dollar. A very fun part to play. Another one that it'll be fun to hear all put together.

What a fantastic villain, Aaron! I love the quality of your voice, and your laughs, and your sighs... A very convincing villain, indeed!

At about 0:50, you left out "old" -- "And the OLD women are still far behind us. Crawling." But I actually think it's better this way, as they aren't "old," so the line is misleading when we only have the audio. I think I'll leave it like it is.

At circa 8:00, you left out "now" -- "I wanted to explain to you, but NOW no more."
I think it would be better with the "now", but it's clear, so I don't think it matters. I'll let you decide.

We can mark the villain as PL OK.

Really nice -- drippingly villainous -- job, Aaron! I also can't wait to hear this completed.

Here's my upload for The Old Woman in "A Dollar":

I hope that I've left appropriate amounts of space between each piece of dialog. And ... I'm pretty shy about my singing. It's nowhere near our Ingenue! But I kept telling myself that it might be funny!

Please let me know if I need to make any changes.

I thoroughly enjoyed this!

Betsy
Nice "old woman," Betsy!

At 00:09 you left out "and," and but it's clear, so we'll leave it.
"You're laughing, AND I feel like crying."

Wonderful crying! And lovely singing! It'll be great with the others! Thanks!
THE OLD WOMAN is PL OK.

Here is the heroine:

Weird what money can do to people...
Yes, it is weird what money can do to people. This portrayal is clearly exaggerated, but that is why I chose it. It has a powerful message.

Wonderful job with the Heroine, Availle! Could you please include the "Musical Hamlet" song? The song should be inserted at about 00:52.

The stage directions say “The COMEDIAN sings the refrain alone at first and the others repeat it together with him.” So could you please sing/chant the following:

ALL: Tra-la-la, tra-la-la,
Over us, under us.
Tra-la-la, tra-la-la,
Under us, over us.
Now we are jolly, jolly are we.

The second time, the stage directions read: “REFRAIN [Same as before.]”
So one more time:

ALL: Tra-la-la, tra-la-la,
Over us, under us.
Tra-la-la, tra-la-la,
Under us, over us.
Now we are jolly, jolly are we.

At around 3:45 and again at 4:08 Jim, as the Comedian, sings his splendid and entertaining version of the musical Hamlet. You can all follow his pace:

Everything else is great! Thanks!

Thanks for your PL. It was a fun part to read. I've corrected the "Now" part so it reads correctly.

This is an interesting play. Are we going to discuss what it means? Seems to have some depth... :D

Please please please, don't make me sing! I can't sing and I really don't want to if you have enough other people to help with it.

Please?
Cheers,

thank you Tomas, MW is updated now.

So things are quite moving forward here.

> Chuck, if Tomas' Best Man is ok, you can finalize your play. :9: I offer my PL services for that play, since I would love to hear the outcome. I made a note in the MW.

> Todd and Bhavya: I checked out graceike who volunteered for the part of the Bride in The Grandmother. It's been over two months now, and she hasn't logged on anymore since then and hasn't done a one-minute-test yet. Maybe it's time to orphan the part ? :hmm:
Bhavya, I also volunteer to PL your final assembled play, because I would really love to hear this one assembled.

I loved my Grandmother part in this one. And yes, all throughout the play and especially at the end, I was left with the unanswered question: what really happened that night ? Because something did happen, that's for sure. Granny just doesn't want to admit it. Multiple scenarios went through my head, but I couldn't come up with a final decision, because the text does not reveal any pointers to the truth.

Thank you! I am happy that you found this to be okay. I was especially unsure about the singing and crying...! Sorry about the "and" omission. I am glad it doesn't need redoing - I've got laryngitis this weekend!
