I really have to look for it :) It's half on the way to Munich from where I grew up as child, so I passed Hohenlinden often. But I have no clue if there is a memorial. - gosh, I just had a look at their website, they even have a museum  Ok, the next day I am bored I'll know what to do ;)

ah, yet again murder and destruction....unfortunately history is full of those episodes. :? But thanks for the beautiful narration, Jim. And flawless too  Immediately PL ok.

I will also orphan Section 25, because I did not hear back from the reader, who has been absent for some time already.

thank you, Jim. Now here is an ambitious ruler if ever there was one. The Habsburgers were always famous for their influence in politics. Now I can see why.

Everything flawlessly read yet again, but I have a small note for your consideration. It's really only a small thing, but which startled me a bit while listening:

> at 5:37-5:38: (p. 259) "he accompanied his father ... to the camp and to the court" - this pause in the middle of the sentence sounds a bit strange to me, would probably benefit from cutting

thanks, and have a nice weekend :)

Sorry this took so long! I was dogsitting at a very echo-y house and had to wait til I got back home!

no need to apologize, as far as I'm concerned you were still plenty inside your deadline, so you actually posted it earlier than I expected :9: And no...we can't have dogs barking at the devastation of St.Vitus Church  (even though...come to think of it, there might have been dogs present :hmm:  )

It's a bit late now, I wanted to log off for tonight, but I'll PL them tomorrow, promised :) thank you !

urgh, two very dark chapters from Czech history again :( Must have been hard for people to leave in these cruel times. But excellent readings, both of them, Colleen :9:

I can mark 51 already PL ok, but I found a small repetition in 55:

> at 8:58: (p. 292) stumble and repeat "It was Bohemia's most venerated shrine, this great cruci..." - can be cut out once

thank you !

aha, this sections paints a more favourable picture of ambitious Rudolph. Shows again how two different authors can draw two different versions. ;)

I only found a tiny surprising error right at the beginning:

> at 0:34: "by William Coxe" - for some reason you forgot to say the surname of the author :hmm:

the rest is perfect as always !

thanks
