Ok, maybe it's more university than school :hmm: Anyway, you sound very reputable, you should apply for the "Tagesschau" ;)

The recording is excellent, only the volume is a bit too low. We aim at 89 dB within a range of 86 to 92 dB. You can check it with mp3gain or checker, or if you use Audacity with ReplayGain. There is a peak of noise in the beginning that you just can cut out; it might prevent you from reaching the right volume.

Can you please adjust the volume and post a link to the edited file in this thread again? Thank you :)

This is a link to my edited version. I am a university student. Not sure what the "Tagesschau" is, but I will definitely look it up! Thank you for listening and helping out! :D

:hmm: You cut out that bump in the beginning which is good; the volume is still at 76.8 dB :) We definitely need something around 89 +- 3 dB. Imagine, somebody listens to your section and adjusts the volume that he can hear it quite well and then the next section comes with 95 dB or so

Tagesschau is a German news broadcast; they're looking for really reputable (and confident) readers.

I hope I got it right this time. Let me know if there are any issues.
