Ist schon OK. Es ist ja ein Hobby und sollte deshalb auch Spaß machen.
Also nimm dann auf, wenn es bei Dir passt - es gibt ja auch noch das echte Leben und dass geht vor.

Wow, schon wieder ein Monat rum. Goethe hat wohl Probleme mit der Wärme in Italien, er schlummert seelig

Aber ich hab ihn noch im Kopf, irgendwann geht es auch wieder weiter.

Just butting in to say I'm reading this in the 1962 English translation by another great poet - W. H. Auden.

I'm really enjoying Goethe's company - he's in darkest rural Sicily at the moment (Caltanissetta) and entertaining the locals in the market square with stories about Frederick the Second - the 13th century King of Sicily, Germany, Jerusalem, Holy Roman Emperor usw known as Stupor Mundi - and writes that "the interest they showed in that great king was so lively that we kept his death a secret for fear we might become objects of hatred to our hosts as bearers of ill tidings."

Sadly, I'll never be up to reading him in German but what a great project, moniaque.

Well, if you're ever in need to learn German, this book would be a big help for you as you already know it in your language
