Filter worked great! You still have a really loud hum though. It sounds like it may be a fan of some type. Try cleaning the file. If that doesn't remove it, you can move your laptop away from the mic, and that might help.tatjupiter wrote: ↑September 27th, 2018, 4:16 pm Hello,
I did a new recording of Section 36 with a pop filter I made. Hope this one is better.

71 This might just be me, but the footnote seems extreme to be read in the middle of the poem. I'm not sure its needed at all, or if used, might not be better moved to the end. Where it is, because of the sheer length, it breaks the flow badly.

54 is missing the last stanza. It's on the next page.
volume is 85.0 dB. The standard is 86 - 92 dB.
98 is PL OK. I might suggest a pop filter for future use. The S's are syllabant and a bit harsh. Nothing I'd change here, but you might think of it for future.
Otherwise, a nice reading.

In re Section 71 - I have no argument regarding the placement of the footnote. I agree it does break up the flow of the poem. I guess I am old school in that you read the footnote where the author placed it, but it does detract from the work itself. I hesitate to remove it totally since the author obviously had a reason to include it. I will move it to the end and see how that sounds.terrybenn wrote: ↑October 3rd, 2018, 8:24 am As always batching by reader for their ease. Here's the next set.
