... my apologies - forgot to include a preferred name. I'll use "DavidG" if I may.

One-minute test checked out OK.

Thanks!
Thanks David! You are now in the system and ready to record.

Section 13 uploaded: https://librivox.org/uploads/annise/bookofamericannegropoetry_13_johnson_128kb.mp3

First "real" recording - let me know your thoughts. I'd love to do a couple more sections if you find my recording suitable for the need.

Whooooa! Truly, truly excellent readings!

I'm serious. You really made a meal out of these poems. I'm impressed. :-)

The readings were excellent and error-free. The only thing keeping this from being 100% catalogue-ready are the missing five seconds of silence at the end of the file (I only counted about 2 seconds after your outro). Just include that and we'll be good to go.

And you're more than welcome to take as many sections as you'd like. Again, thank you for volunteering.

Thank you - that's an easy fix which I'll do shortly.

May I also claim #6 - Daniel Webster Davis? (I really enjoy the dialect stuff!)

I'm glad to hear it. I actually worried when I first launched this project that those sections would be the most difficult to fill. And you do quite well with those sections, so it's a perfect fit. :-)

Thanks again!

Another excellent recording! Well done!

(And that last poem kinda made me hungry, weirdly enough...)

This file is PL OK, but with one minor caveat: the file name. I fixed it this time, so no worries about re-uploading... but in the future, when you have a section in the single digits, just remember to put a zero before the section number (ex. "bookofamericannegropoetry_06," not "bookofamericannegropoetry_6"). But again, no worries this time. I took care of it, so you're all good. :-)

I also went ahead and signed you up for those other sections. Thanks again for helping out!

I’m so excited that this is being taken on! I found this on Gutenberg a few weeks ago and was blown away by so many of the poems in it!

Always happy to help out. :-) Thanks.

But yeah, BC-ing this project is definitely a pleasure.

I just uploaded sections 14, 22, and 25. Respectively, these are:

https://librivox.org/uploads/annise/bookofamericannegropoetry_22_johnson_128kb.mp3 - runtime 1:51
https://librivox.org/uploads/annise/bookofamericannegropoetry_25_johnson_128kb.mp3 - runtime 6:06

Thank you for your critique/commentary.

Correction needed: right after uploading 14, 22, and 25, I noticed in the magic window that you had assigned me to #24 (Anne Spencer) instead of #25 (Alex Rogers).

Thanks,
