Fear not! Somewhere else in the book this story arc came from, Dad Rudd buys Sarah a gold watch.

Mother Rudd
Happy Listening!
wonderful, TJ !!! You play an exquisitely ruddy Mother Rudd. Well she has to be a tough woman to still be living with Dad Rudd for all these years.

apart from one missing line in chapter 12 and the voice credit, everything is PL ok.

> for the voice credit, could need to say “wife of Dad Rudd”. You said “David”, but that’s actually their son ;)

> at about 0:05: missing line, because it was wrongly coloured: “She's mending Davie's dark tweeds.

I suggest you put the voice credit in chapter 12 as well, that way you don't have to reupload two sections. I'll make a note in the MW about this

Thanks ! This is a great addition to the DR

Hi Sonia!

So here's Mother Rudd, Chapter 12, including the missing line (at 0:14) and the corrected voice credit at the beginning.

I don't see anything about gender-neutral casting, but in case you're up for a female voice for the boys, I'd be happy to take Willie Wiley.
If you have no objections to small parts doubling up, I'd be happy to take Bill or Barty as well.

Excellent! I'll sign you up for both Willie Wiley and Bill!

Thanks,

I'm trying to convince my hubby to read one of the other remaining men's parts - he sometimes reads for me when I need a male voice in a play! Which is the smallest remaining part? I think there's just Joe and Barty left, and from memory Barty is the smaller part...

He's already registered with LV as "Cave" despite submitting nothing - I record and edit his stuff on my setup and submit it myself usually, so he's never even done the 1 min test, but you can sign him up for one of the two remaining men.

Actually, normally Joe would be a fairly large voice-part in any Dad & Dave project, but I think he has the smaller number of lines in this extract.

Cheers,
Chris
