Phoebe and Phil Daring are The Daring Twins! Detectives, mystery and the first book in a new series by L Frank Baum (author of the Wizard of Oz, etc). The story is about five orphans, of whom two are twins. It appears that the plan was to write at least one about each child in the family. Only two books in this series were ever completed, and the second one (Phoebe Daring) is currently in progress as a group project. This is the first book - then we would have both!
