Next, I want to play the court scene in "The Wind in the Willows".
"Objection, your Honour! A badger is counselling the witness!"
Cheers,

maybe you should refrain from lawyer roles after this it's not as if you won your case for your client.SonOfTheExiles wrote:Subtleman, Act 4, completed.

But: Subtleman is excellently portrayed. Love the voice you keep up till the end. He sounds as if he always has his nose turned upward LOL
Excellent. PL ok. Well, maybe one note, but I think it can be considered optional.
> at about 4:25: (p. 79 bottom): All: "How!" maybe you could speak this exclamation as well, since we don't have that many people in the scene to make it a crowd. I think Subtleman was just as surprised about this turn of event as everybody else I let you decide.

excellent Leanne !!! Just like I hoped and thought it would be. I pity poor Alan as your henpecked husband you give him such a good see-to in the beginning. I love itleanneyauyau wrote:https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/twi ... ount_2.mp3
all the lines in and perfectly acted out, only one thing missing, concerning the voice credit:
> could you please say the entire character description: Mrs. Clearaccount, Wife to Clearaccount, read by Leanne Yau
thanks

This looks fun! I'd like to take something, but I'm not sure what. Maybe Jack, and/or Frisure? Maybe a Maid, Footman, Servant? Maybe Fairbank or Comic? What do you think would suit?
Here is Hermes, the GOOD twin!

hi Devorah, whatever you like really. (make sure they have a lot to say, so I can listen to more of your excellent playing purely selfish reasons, I know )mightyfelix wrote:This looks fun! I think Fairbank in Act 3 has quite a good scene with Hermes Wouldbe. Maybe you would like that part ? But whatever you decide on, I'm confident you can pull it.

haha you like to flaunt that you are the good guy, don't you Well, you played it exceptionally well. All the sincere outrage towards the schemes of the "bad" brother sounds very convincing. And I love the touch of the melodramatic in the several rhymes you had to say.ToddHW wrote:Here is Hermes, the GOOD twin!
All three acts PL ok.

Thanks, Sonia. I did read all the way through the play, and I think it's great! I was already leaning towards Fairbank. I like his style. I'll take him.

If anyone wants me to read the Prologue, I'd be more than happy to ...
I don't see it in the MW, but ... you never know ... it's full of fantasticness.

I'd been wondering about the prologue. What do you think, Todd?
Sure. I think I was supposed to read it (based on the actor names from the first performance) but I did not.bluechien wrote:If anyone wants me to read the Prologue, I'd be more than happy to ...

I'll add a section to the MW for it.
Thanks, Todd

Oh, no, you volunteered! Mine was just an idle curiosity.
