Did you see through Corliss and suspect his story? I didn't, and probably would have plunked down some money in hopes of getting rich quick and pleasing Cora. But in Ch. 14 we take a break from all that and return to Hedrick, the not-so "darling little boy". Tarkington does juggle these plots, doesn't he?

BTW, are the changes to the Forum just cosmetic, or has something more been done? Just askin'.

The changes to the forum was an update that needed to be made to make it more secure. It definitely is taking a while to get used to for me! Everything has been changed around!

Sometimes I feel compelled to share a feeling about what I've just read, as I do after reading 15. This author's writing is incredibly sensitive. He had an amazing talent for drilling deeply into his characters' psyches.

Yes, I agree! This author is really bringing out the characters and making them more "real." Chapter 15 is PL OK!

When I write the summary, I must include the word "roller-coaster". If you haven't thought it already you might agree after listening to 16.

I agree with adding roller coaster to the summary! So much going on in this story! Chapter 16 is PL OK!
