Many thanks for your patience, my voice is now (almost) back to rights, and I'll be continuing recording from tomorrow, 11/4.
It is worth noting that I am not going to hit my planned target for completion of this work, which was meant to be the end of October, I trust this isn't going to cause any problems for the site. Things will return to normal from now on
Be good!

YAY! Voice is finally back to normal and I'm not sounding like a moose sneezing. I'll get round to doing "The Strike" tomorrow (Saturday) and get it up. I'm keen to make sure I keep this project going
Many thanks again, it's good to have people around me who are patient!

Hello, dear friends!
I am really sorry it took me so long to give the feedback...Some family and technical problems prevented me from accessing the forum more often. The latest recording is perfect and your voice is wonderful! Keep up the great work!
Best regards,
Simona

My deepest apologies for such a prolonged absence. One new PC and a massive hard disk rescue later, I am back on the floor. I hope you're all having a good year so far, and I'll be back to the grindstone tomorrow evening

Wow, what a month. Is it that long? Dang. Anyhow, chapter 9 of Doodles is now up and ready for PL. I'm doing 10 and 11 Sunday, both of which are quite long, but they'll be up by tomorrow evening. I am so far behind on this, I feel like I'm going round in circles.
Chapter 9: Thomas Fitzpatrick's Whistle
Time: 17:07
Link: https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/doodles_09_dowd_128kb.mp3
I will update you on a small matter which I thought I'd dealt with - When I came back to start this project, I mentioned that I'd not been well, but all was ok now. Well, I found out last week that it's not. The truth is that my cancer has returned, and I need surgery within the next week to deal with the reoccurence.
I'm putting you both on notice that I may not be able to complete this project. I'll do as much as I can for as long as I can, but if I have to have another course of chemotherapy, that will have to come first, and I know you can't wait forever.
I'll keep you informed

Thanks for letting us know. What tough news. Hope all goes well with the surgery.
There's no deadline on this project, so if you need to go offline for a while and deal with the chemo, we can wait. If it bothers you having it out there, then let me know and I'll take care of getting it finished, but my preference is that you have the chance to complete it whenever you are ready, as long as that doesn't become a burden to you.
Best wishes for the weeks to come, and feel free to drop a PM or post whenever you feel like giving an update.

Hi Aniroo! Many thanks for taking on DPL duties for my project. As you can see from my most recent post, I'm having some health issues right now, so I'm doing what I can, when I'm able
There's one chapter waiting for PL, and I have another ready to upload sometime tonight. Please enjoy your time on this project and again, thanks for climbing onboard!

I notice chapter 9 has been marked for me to see PL notes, but I don't see any notes and I don't know where to find them. Any clue Aniroo or MaryAnn please?

I don't see that it has ever been listened to. Maybe it was a mistake when it was entered into the MW. I'll mark it "ready for PL", and we can go from there.
