Revenge! by Robert Barr (1849 - 1912).

This project is now complete! All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/revenge-by-robert-barr/
A collection of 20 short stories of the crime, detective, and thriller variety, sharing a common theme of .... you guessed it, revenge, and often with surprise conclusions. Elements of the style of Alfred Hitchcock may be found among many of the tales. Turn down the lights, let the imagination wander as it will, and perpare to expect the unexpected. (Roger Melin)
  • Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/8668
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): special - Word perfect not necessary, however if an error which may alter author intent, please make note. Also mispronunciations should be noted.

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

It wasn't. I guess it best to remove it anyhow. My question is: is it even a word?

I find the word in several online dictionaries but LV thinks hitchcockian is a misspelling.

I thought adding a keyword which included Hitchcock might be beneficial, but it probably wouldn't be at any rate.
The short stories simply reminded me so much of those to which Hitchcock has been given credit. No big deal, I guess.

Anyway, section 4 has been posted. Enjoy!
Thanks! :D

Yes, very similar to his "AH Presents" tv series.
