Hello-

I recently suggested reading Vimalakirti Sutra however I am having a hard time finding an early translation. I came across this text that was translated by a Japanese scholar and monk at the turn of the 20th century.

Açvaghosha's Discourse on the awakening of faith in the Mahâyâna ... Aśvaghoṣa.

It contains an exposition on the history of Mahayana Buddhism as well as a translation of a short teaching (about 100 pages) by a 1st century Buddhist saint an scholar Acvaghosha.

Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. This would be my first recording so any best practices for reading and recording would be greatly appreciated as well.

Thanks!
