I STRONGLY encourage a one-minute test (LINK) to check your technical settings. It's not an audition, but to make sure you're exporting at the correct bit rate, have your recording in mono, etc. Better to figure out all that before recording a 35-45 minute section (which these will be) only to discover a problem that means you have to redo it!
You can click on your name in the Magic Window (open it in a new tab/window) to see your reader page. It'll also have a link on the reader page that shows you the sections you've signed up for.
