The New Catalog is Official! (Feature Requests & Bugs)
I searched this topic to see if my question had being answered, but I did it very quickly so I'm sorry if this is just a repeat.
My question is; is there anyway to display more titles on a single page? While it's not a big issue, it is annoying to search for a fiction book over 11 pages, compared to when I could just quickly scroll over a single page.
It's also annoying to try and guess what page a certain letter is. i.e books starting with the letter S start on page 8.
I'm wondering if there is anyway to view books of a certain category on a single page or at least increase the number of titles displayed on each page?

It sounds like what you want is to be able to browse more easily. A more browsable search is in the works for the future.crazybus wrote:I searched this topic to see if my question had being answered, but I did it very quickly so I'm sorry if this is just a repeat.

Also, you can maximize the number of search results per page by specifying whether you want in progress or complete projects in your results.
Here's a bug that needs to be looked into eventually...
When you search for Ted's works in the database, you can type up "Ted Delorme" and the works appear like normal, but start typing in "Mask o' Glass" and it will appear in the dropdown suggestions, but when you search on it, it gives you 2 nasty errors:
Thanks,
Sean

Thought that I'd report that so it could be put on the investigation list.0 matches

Thanks Sean, will take note of it. It looks like it's the apostrophe that's doing it.12makoto wrote:Here's a bug that needs to be looked into eventually...

Hi there,
I just found the new catalog and have to congratulate you for the work.
But, the german recording "Leonce und Lena" by Georg Büchner can't be found. I browsed all categories and tried a few different search parameters but failed finding it. Could someone have a look at it?

Thanks for catching that! We must have missed it in the data entry phase. I'll add it in right now.schildwaechter wrote:Hi there,

I put this in the podcast, but now that you put only 20 books per page, I would like a feature where you can choose how many books per page there are, it will be much easier to track.

Specify Complete or In Progress and you'll get a maximum of 40 results.TBOL3 wrote:I put this in the podcast, but now that you put only 20 books per page, I would like a feature where you can choose how many books per page there are, it will be much easier to track.

thanks for adding it, but why are the sections marked as inclomplete, whereas the project itself is completed (and marked such) ?

A book I coordinated, The Secret Adversary by Agatha Christie, doesn't seem to show up in the new catalog. Can this be fixed? Thanks in advance!

Due to an unresolved copyright dispute that work is no longer in our catalog. This reminds me to check up on it though, thank you.heatherausten wrote:A book I coordinated, The Secret Adversary by Agatha Christie, doesn't seem to show up in the new catalog. Can this be fixed? Thanks in advance!

Goodness, I wasn't aware of that. I do hope it gets resolved! Thanks, Hugh and Kri.
