Having grown up in Washington, I can confirm that it is, indeed, the name of one of its cities. That, a river, and a county (at least) are all named after the Snohomish people.

Thank you for confirming my choice. I’ve never been to the Pacific Northwest, but many places in WA state are on my list of places to visit. (Plus, I’ve always been something of a geography nerd.)
