Arielle, Doll Williamson is PL OK.

Question about Act 2.4 there are missing a couple of ALL lines... (not sure if Doll would say these or not)
ALL.
Faith, a says true: let's do as we may be done to.
ALL.
We yield, and desire his highness' mercy.
ALL.
Most willingly; whether you will have us.
David Lawrence

Greetings!
I believe I worked with you a while back on Verne’s “Eight Hundred Leagues on the Amazon”. I did 19-1, “Ancient History”.
I would be delighted to read the Prologue in 4.1 of “Sir Thomas More”. Also, if it’s Permissible, I could do the few lines for George Bett. If I may only do one or the other, my first choice is the Prologue. I now have a new microphone and more free time – so I should have less trouble than before with Plosives and Procrastination. Fortunately, I won't have to worry about Pronunciation of Brazilian Portuguese, either.

Welcome Vin. Arielle, our MC is away for a spell, so I will put you in for both those parts you've requested.

Please let me know if the quality is too awful - having some mic problems. I *think* it should be OK?
Quality is fine Elley, but you've missed the ALL lines in both Acts 2.2 & 3.1. I think the Clown would say those also.

May I play the Earl of Shrewsbury (15) and Sherwin (6)?

Thanks, Todd

Thanks Todd, I've put you in for (15) Earl of Shrewsbury for now. Arielle would prefer only one voice per Act. Have fun!

Finally, I've taken the plunge and here are Acts I, II, III for Sir Thomas More. Far more challenging than the stage in some respects. I can't seem to get away from the "read" feeling. This is hard for us perfectionists.

More More to come . . .

ACT ONE - 4:21
http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/al/sirthomasmore_sirthomasmore_1.mp3

ACT TWO - 9:52
http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/al/sirthomasmore_sirthomasmore_2.mp3

ACT THREE - 9:24

http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/al/sirthomasmore_sirthomasmore_3.mp3

Since I'm still getting used to recording the plays, my timing between lines is very irregular, so I hope the editor will still be able to sort it all out.

Thank you Larry, sounds good.

Act 1 is PL OK.

There are notes for Act 2...
- missing line at 1:30
ALL.
Shrieve More, More, More, Shrieve More!
MORE.
Even by the rule you have among yourselves,
Command still audience.

ALL.
Surrey, Surrey! More, More!

- missed edit at 1:40

- missed edit at 4:40 .."What do you, then,
Rising gainst him that God himself installs,"..

- missed edit at 4:53 ... "what do you to your souls
In doing this?" ..

- at 7:20 sounds as if words were edited out ..."To persist in it is present death: but, if you
Yield yourselves,"
David Lawrence

Yep, I missed that line for More when I was marking my script.

In regard to the lines marked ALL:

There are actually four of them in this section, but I don't believe More is included in any of them. Certainly it would not make sense for him to say a line about himself, and then follow it immediately by his own line. But, maybe it's best for me to include them and let the editor decide.

Thanks for your careful PL!

Hi!
http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/al/sirthomasmore_prologue__4.1.mp3

I really enjoyed doing this one. No Brazilian Portuguese. Also, it's not often that I get introduced by a trumpet fanfare.
But, Hey, it's in the script ... so I put it in the recording.
Please let me know if the recording is OK. I'll probably wait for your feedback before recording the role of George Betts,

Thanks,
Vin Lucid

Sorry, I wasn't clear in my notes, I only included the ALL lines to 'bracket' your missing MORE line, no need to read the ALLs.

Ah! Thanks so much for your patience.

I probably won't get to this until next week. But, I plan to finish up all acts.
