Makes it sound like he makes money here, though: "...has been delving ever deeper into Twain, reading his journals and letters. 'I read in a way I hope generates interest and I just have fun making a few bucks.'"

I think the article conflated LibriVox and Iambik...the psychology textbooks are certainly not read for Librivox.

The New York Times is one of the most influential media outlets in the world and LibriVox being mentioned there will bring a little more recognition.

John Greenman is now on a newspaper who has made many articles, interviews, etc of Mark Twain.

We do seem to be getting an influx of new members, according to the admin who activates the accounts.

Anyway, this might result in a new flow of volunteers....I hope!

I hope, eventually that the email I sent Hugh, as soon as I read the article, will be shared with everyone.
The reference to Iambik was edited out...creating the impression that bucks could be made at LV!

I've talked to the writer by phone, he will try to get the Times to make a small change in the para about payment.
