So, I joined LV last February 15th, 2012, 4:27 pm (+8UTC).

My first ever recording aside from my (awful) One-minute-test, is A Message from the Sea (which also one awful recording), for the Charles Dickens' 200th anniversary collection, BC-ed and MC-ed by Ruth. I am so encouraged by Ruth's enthusiasm to help noobs like me, even going so far as to correct my pronunciation and edit my 20 minute recording for me. Thank you Ruth!!~♥

Also, My first PLing experience here was PLing Kuya Masa's Wasuregusaniyosu, and my first BCing project in A Purple Cloud by M. P. Shiel. The first recording of mine that that was first catalogued was My Flower by Ira Titus and the group project I BCed that was first catalogued was Bonaparte in Egypt and the Egyptians of To-day.

Well, that's my record of firsts :D

In my one year of stay here, I learned so many things, besides audio editing. I met many internet friends and improved my skills overall, so for that I thank you all :D

LV also catered my passion for reading, and I was able to procure books I never thought of reading before. Again, thank you very much Librivox! :D

[[and I'm sorry to those BCs that I owe sections. I will try finish them as soon as I have quiet time)

Happy LibriVersary, April! So glad you're part of LV!!!
Between being a full-time college student and working 20+ hours per week, I'm not able to be involved at LV these days, but I remain a loyal fan and look forward to a triumphant return sometime in the (probably distant) future.

This is also my first solo project. First thing is always impressive.
I like this author's sonnet very much.

Cheers,
Masa

Happy Anniversary, April! I am glad that I didn't put you off - the Dickens was a challenging start for you. :)

I liked them too, and the fact that they were very short I can listen to it for half the speed and not consume much time :)

Thank you everyone!
