Hi Timothy!
Welcome to Librivox. I like your enthusiasm

Just a few things:
Our MC listened to your test and said it was fine, so your technical specs are OK.
She also listened to part of this file and said it was a little quiet... OK this time, but you will want to watch that. There is a program called "Checker" (free) that you can run your MP3 file through to find out how loud it is. We want it as close to 89dB as you can get it, so if it doesn't meet that criteria, you go back to Audacity and amplify. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkhk0megqHE&feature=youtu.be

Also, although I understand your enthusiasm, it is a good idea to wait until a section/chapter is assigned to you in the MW - that way, you don't record, only to discover someone else has done the same thing. The only time that is not the case, is in the short story collections, where you pick a story to read and submit it. That said, no problem this time

And finally (I think) I need to know the running time of your file in mm:ss (e.g. 12:34) - we need that for cataloging and to make sure your file uploaded in its entirety.

Our DPL will be along shortly in order to listen to the story and give you more specific feedback.
