Georgia,
Great work on section 15. Everything except your volume and ending silence is pl ok.

Your overall volume is over the 92dB maximum limit. The voice of Linda is much louder than the rest of your reading. Do you use Audacity? If so, please set your program to show clipping, you can find this under ‘View’. These red lines are when the program is unable to capture the vocal range and too much clipping can lead to distortion. When we do voices, it’s common to become louder. It’s best to back away very slightly from the microphone. My ‘very’ I mean simply the transfer of your weight from toe to heal will generally be enough. Even if you don’t stand during recording hopefully that gives you an idea of how subtle it needs to be.

For this recording, I recommend compression. That will lower the high points without lowering the quieter places. This should be enough to bring the volume into range. Again, if you use Audacity try this: Effect>Compressor>You can play with the settings using Preview (I used Threshold: -14, Noise Floor: -40, Ratio 2:1, Attack time: 0.20secs, Release Time: 1.0secs – uncheck the boxes) Here’s a video which may help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fKYYj6HMZU

Please trim the ending silence to 5 seconds.

Hi Lynda,
Chapter 21 is PL OK.

Chapter 22

Chapters 23 and 24 are PL OK.

I'm a little too tired to finish tonight but I'll get you all caught up in the morning.
