we only use initials when it is possible that there will be 2 files with the same name in the same place that come from different people, like the weekly poem or the tests. So jkm would be fine for the test, and for any "real" projects. For real projects, we always use lowercase letters, because some software treats JKM and jkm as the same and other software treats them as different when they arrange the files in order
Hope this helps

My username is juliakasdorfmusic. Are my initials JKM? should they be capitalized?
Hi Julia. I'm not sure what you mean. Everyone here in LibriVox has a username for the forums and a catalog name which is used when people search the catalog. They can be the same or different. Many of us use our real names for the catalog but it is up to you. So ..... initials are not really used unless you want that to be your catalog name in which case, they can be capatilized or not as you choose. :D
EDIT: for example my forum username is philchenevert and my catalog name is Phil Chenevert.

Hi Phil---Can't figure out how to pm you so I just wanted to thank you for all your videos. I watched them numerous times before I decided to give it a go and my first book completed yesterday and posted today. Even though my work still needs "more work", there's no way I would have even attempted such a project without your vids! Thank you! Spiffycat :)

Where is the link to download Audacity? I googled it but there are various websites and I want to make sure I use the right one. I use a MacBook Air as well.

Hi again. I'm having trouble accessing the uploader. I used the username and password that is listed but it is not working for me. Do I have the right info? Any reason why it wouldn't be working? It says I have the wrong login. Ty.

Edit: I realized I need to select the "test" option, but on the uploader page, I do not see any option to select anything.
