I am currently listening to Danny Kaye’s I’ve Got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts, Yes We Have No Bananas, and Broadway musicals. And classical(best genre ever). Particularly Mozart. Aand Movin’ Right Along(the muppet movie)
Oh my gosh, I love Danny Kaye! It's so sad to me that he's been largely forgotten by so many. The Inspector General and The Court Jester are both brilliant.
(Also muppets.
)

Did you know that Danny Kaye had his own radio show in the late-1940s?

You all have to listen to more classical music!
I don't see enough classical stuff mentioned in all of the ten pages of this thread
Here are some good ones that I love:
Strauss jr: best waltzes:
https://youtu.be/pdrzg3fZ1xo
Saint-Saens 5th Piano Concerto, the "Egyptian" (the last movement is THE BEST!)
https://youtu.be/mkBOZKt7OcY
Tchaikovsky Slavonic March:
https://youtu.be/F0sgKCetlb8
Beethoven's fifth Symphony:
https://youtu.be/msolhqi-PC0
Beethoven's Seventh Symphony (his absolute best!)
https://youtu.be/perfwcyj9Ew
Strauss Bauern Polka
https://youtu.be/WKU2uQpU9Lo
Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 5
https://youtu.be/bkyxV5WiRhM
Weber's Grand Duo Concertant:
https://youtu.be/eJ9Z10MsRLc
I have much more! Way more than that
Let's see if you all like it better than that other stuff that's been mentioned in the thread

While proof-listening an eighteenth century book just now I came across a reference to a famous eighteenth century prize fighter who was the ancestor of an even more famous twentieth century actor.
Here is a nice send up of both the snooty BBC interviewer and Tommy Steele, the first English rock and roll star. You will recognise The Trumpet Voluntary:

My 3 CD set of Bach that I bought 2 years ago with a book voucher. I had forgotten about it. Yesterday I cut the plastic off the box and booted up CD 1...

These times I listen mostly to my own recordings, trying to mix together different jaw harps, which I play. It promises to be a very long practice, for I`m only learning to play that instrument. One of the things to encourage me is that I hear nowhere the music I like to play on it.
My great revelation the past year has been
Yusufina X, Eleeza Galilei; I simply fell in love with her "
La Generale".
I also like rock and nowadays energetic classical music.
Have a great 2022!

I could play the trumpet. When I was a kid, I belonged to the school marching band. (It promises to be a very long practice.) I won a prize in the all Japan national competition for kids. (Off corse, as a team member.) So, I love Louis Armstrong and his music, a march, and a brass. (I haven't been able to read a music score still now!)
I'm a busy man because I'm a needy. I have enough time for listen the music. The time I have is for the music with English lyrics as my English pracrtice.
Yes, I can do a practice!!
