Dear Arb,

May I record Chapter XXIV (24) The Nile.

Where there is a footnote defining a term, I plan to define it right then and there in the text. Okay? Instead of saying see footnote 2.

I am not at home but visiting my son in Seattle. I think I can find a good place to record. If it doesn't work out, I'll let you know quickly.

Thanks Florence- yes for that footnote I'd just say it in the text - I wouldn't say footnote and end of footnote - just pause slightly and say it as an aside

I keep checking to see if my recording of Chap. 24 is PL OK. Do I interpret the lack of an Okay as a directive to do something--like re record?

No. I just haven't had a moment to PL yet. Sorry. I've been under the weather with bronchitis, and have been so clogged up that I couldn't hear anything. I should be able to PL it today or tomorrow.

Sorry, I've been in process of moving, so I don't have internet at home. I have Chapter 32 finished and I will upload it later today or tomorrow. I should get Chapter 33 finished by Wednesday.
