Hi Sandra and Betsie,

I was hoping to get a few more files finished for you this week but we're doing some renovations on the house and then heading out on Sunday for the sun and surf for a week, so I probably won't get anything else done until I get back. You may wish to advertise for editing help to keep things moving, and if so I can jump back in and help when I get back, and if you want to wait, I'll get back at it when I get home.

I am willing to help with some of the editing. Laura, where should I start? With two of us editing, let's put a note in the MW when we start working on a file so that we don't accidentally edit something twice.

That would be fantastic, Betsie! I haven't done anything since chapter 13, so if you want to start with 14? And yeah, we can just put a note in the MW of the chapters we plan to edit.

Hello Betsie and Laura,
here's a brief update. I finished recording the book over a week ago and chapters 1-20, 22-37 and 41 are now in the magic window.

Looks like we are making steady progress. I just uploaded edited versions of chapter 14, 15, 16. I have PMed the re-record notes to you, Sandra, for when your microphone is fixed.

Hi Sandra and Betsie,

While we were on vacation my son got the incredible good news that he has a fourth grade teaching position. In my opinion it's a miracle considering that they are shutting down some schools in our area because of budget cuts. This will be his first year of teaching so I'm going to be busy helping him get his resources ready on the days I'm not keeping my grandbaby. I was hoping to continue helping out here until school started back, but once he's all set up it will be time for me to start getting my own lesson plans ready because the middle of August is quickly approaching. I am regretfully going to need to step down from this project. It's been a pleasure and I wish you all the best with it.

Sandra let me know that her microphone is out of commission so it may be a little while before she can do the re-records needed on the chapters that are edited. I'll send you a PM when they are ready for you =)

I uploaded the edited versions of Chapter 14-16 (mainly as a backup). You can listen to them if you want to at this point; there were just a few small bits missing that we can edit in and spot-check later.

Chapter 17-20 are edited and uploaded.
