This is a continuation of the original thread because a software issue seems to be causing problems with very long threads and we don't want any messages to become unreadable until we can get it fixed.
This is something slightly updated from what kristin wrote:All bloopers should use the LV uploader using the "bloopers" project folder. Please label all files with "blooper" at the end so we can identify them. If you choose, you can add your initials as well so we have an idea whose they are.

It's fun to have a place to share all those little gems that give everyone else so much enjoyment. I, at least, find them quite encouraging when I'm having an off day.

And per Anita's suggestion here is a one second bleep for those of us who may need to clean our bloopers a bit first. (If you need more than a second you're on your own :D )

And to start us off, here's one of mine that just missed the cut off for the blooper reel.

(This one was detrimental to the point that I still haven't managed to record the poem  )
(This post possibly to be updated with links to the bloopers posted in the previous thread?)

Public service announcement: This is what happens when you drink soda while recording.

That wasn't a big burp! LOL!

This is what happens when you record while your husband is sitting in the same room, and you're a bit paranoid:

Thanks for the much-needed laugh, Arielle! Sure you don't want me to edit that in to the finished play?

Here's what happens when you don't read the text beforehand and get to where it says, "she said" when you thought HE was talking...

This one from DebraLynn remains one of my all time favorites . . .
Oh the hazards of reading humorous literature! Sorry about the length (4 minutes) but I kept in enough context to show what set me off. When I was a kid, a friend of mine had a gadget called, I think, a "Jag Bag." It was a little metal box in a red cloth bag and when you pushed the button it started laughing hysterically. You just couldn't help laughing yourself when you heard it. This kind of reminds me of that.

All I can say is that if you're feeling depressed, this may provide some temporary relief.

(BTW this is from Chapter 6 of They and I by Jerome K Jerome.)

What I'm trying to say is "Scrooges Schlüsselloch" (Scrooge's keyhole)!

A rather serious condemnation of a rather nasty lady and look what I go and mis-read.... Have kept in the immediately following good read too!

For anyone who might be intrigued (hope this may appeal to any newbies checking this out) this is before I do any post to my recordings - a lovely admin provided me with a great step by step as to how to get my recordings sounding much better as you might be able to hear on my other posts!

The online text of my current William Cobbett solo is dogged with printing errors (not OCR scannos, but good old-fashioned compositor-put-the-wrong-letter-in-the-frame botches). But one or two have turned out to be not errors but archaic words I didn't know, so I record with both the online Oxford English Dictionary, and my modern-printing facsimile-edition of a very slightly different version of the text to hand. Hopefully that explains the mumbling in the middle of this encounter...
