Hello Mr. Frerking,
thank you for the perfect recording. Usually, when you upload a recording (except for collections) you are not required to link to the sorse text.

Hello C Heyes,
welcome to Librivox. I hope you will enjoy here. You have a lovely, expressive, reading voice. Well, your recording is on the soft side. Can you make it louder? Also, I have to know it's duration. In addition, please let us know under which name you would like to appear in the catalogue- your reall name, your forum name, or something else that you choose. Please let us know if you have a personal url which you would like us to link to your name.

The recording is 0:44 including the silence at the end (0:33 without). Please use my full name in the catalogue, Carrie Heyes. I don't have a narration-geared website, but one for my children's poetry. Can you add that? It's www.CarrieHeyes.com

As for making it louder - I'll try! Do you think I should increase the input of my mic?

Thanks!

Hi C Heyes,
the librivox wiki (to which you have a link in the top of the page) will be of very good use for you. About the seconds of silence, please have only 5 seconds of silence at the end of each recording under 30 minits. Records above 30 minits demand 10 seconds of silence. But this one asks only for 5...

Hello Kim,
your recording is fine. THank you very much for it. The silence at the end is much too long. Also, I hear a constant backround hissss in the recording. Can you clean it a little?

Hello again Stav, Not sure what the problem might be. The vocal in the file
I sent ends at 36.5 secs and the total file runs 41.5 secs. How much end of
recording silence are you hearing? As for the background hiss I'm not sure
what to do? Putting the file back in Audacity I'm seeing next to no background
noise and even with the volume of my headphones way up I'm not hearing
anything excessive. I will certainly upload again if it may help. ~Kim
