Adventure eight is great PL OK!

Whenever you have time to record and edit sections is perfectly fine.
You reading is splendid, and that was a good adventure for Mr Holmes.

Downloading Adventure 9! Will post back tomorrow with my notes!

Edit!

I had time to listen to the Adventure right away and there's one glitch:

At 32:11There's a repeat “Holmes flung open the door and rushed in, but he was out again in an instant, with his hand to his throat.”

in this excerpt :” Three doors faced up upon the second floor, and it was from the central of these that the sinister sounds were issuing, sinking sometimes into a dull mumble and rising again into a shrill whine. It was locked, but the key had been left on the outside. Holmes flung open the door and rushed in, but he was out again in an instant, with his hand to his throat."

The rest of the recording is excellent!

Betty

I've PL'ed section 10 and there is one glitch that needs attention.

At 12:55 repeat “My coffee had not yet come,” in “My coffee had not yet come, and I wondered what was the cause of the delay could be. Opening the door, I started down the corridor to find out.”

Interesting tale and very well read. :9:

One more to go. I've enjoyed proof listening this project for you Eric..
Thank you!

as always, thanks to you for catching that. I'm glad to have such a dedicated DPL. :D

I'm reuploading now and the new RT is 67:38.

I'm excited for this next one! Oddly enough it's a bit shorter than most of the others, even with the hype of Professor Moriarty. it's only 7000 some words so it'll be around 30 min I expect.

Section 11 is PL OK!

Marvelously read project. That last episode had me thinking of the TV series starring Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes.

Thank you, it was fun listening and I'd enjoy the opportunity to be DPL for you again.

Betty
