I've marked the both PL OK because they follow the PG text
But surely in 31 at 3:39 when Louis is trying to press his suit the text should say "drive her from HIS mother's house " not drive her from HER mother's house - - she has never even met her mother

You're absolutely right. I checked my 1893 Chapman and Hall edition, and it is indeed "his mother's." I should have caught this.
The Gutenberg text is, unfortunately, full of errors, and I keep my old C and H edition at hand to make corrections in the reading. But I'm sure I've missed some.
In any case, I will make the correction that you point to, upload chap. 31 again, and put the proper version back in the MW.

I corrected chap. 31, uploaded it and put it in MW, and then listened to the paragraph with the mistake; now it's OK.
Many thanks for catching this.

Chaps. 33 and 34 are now up in the MW.
Incidentally, I read (but didn't yet proof) chap. 42 yesterday). The Gutenberg had a fair number of glaring errors that I had to correct, and I wonder how many others I've missed in this book. If I were Louis Scatcherd, it would drive me to drink.

I think there are ways you can let PG know - and they are always looking for proofreaders. I did register but then got caught up here
I know johng and his DPLs have been correcting much of the Twain there , but it is a lot of work.

Chapters 33 and 34 PL OK
With the Palliser books , I linked the 6 of them in the catalogue - I hadn't realised that this was the 3rd book in the Barchester group and we had the Warden and Barchester Towers already . Are they connected at all and should I be linking them - I'm still listening to the Palliser ones ( for pleasure) - not that PLing them isn't pleasant - so haven't started on these yet

Chapters 35-36 are now up in the MW; both pretty short compared to some of the others.
