Hello:

I have posted section 22. Not really happy with it, a lot more challenging than a 2 minute poem..:-)

If this needs re recording I can do this week end...

Hello Patrick,
My two sections have been uploaded.

02 - King Cophetua and the Beggar-Maid; http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/arb/oldenglishballads_02_edwards.mp3 (5m 54 s / 5.41mb)

09 - Barbara Allen's Cruelty; http://upload.librivox.org/share/uploads/arb/oldenglishballads_09_edwards.mp3 (1m 52s / 1.71mb) - In spite of all my practising, I'm still not sure if my reading of this poem is quite right, but this is the best of my recordings to date.

Hi Jamie
I see it is your first recording and you didn't do a technical test . But most things are fine and your voice and reading were good, It does need to be amplified -we aim for peaks between .5 and 1 , but before you upload an amplified version , why don't you post this file in the "Listeners Wanted thread" and ask if anyone has any ideas on improving the sound quality - post what software and microphone you are using , sometimes a little tweak makes a big difference. If you have no joy there, I'm happy to mark an amplified file PL OK
Hope to here more of your recordings soon :D

I added them to the MW as I was doing a catch up on my PLing
02 & 09 PL OK   . As I said above they were more difficult to read than they looked - and as for Barbara Allen - I thought it worked well .

I noticed that for my recording of Section 17, the "Listen" link was omitted after the PL. Also waiting for PL on 10 and 11, uploaded some time ago and apparently overlooked.
