Keeping an eye out for that one myself!

Was... ;)

But if I were to guess? Knowing what LVers are like when there's a neat number to reach, I wouldn't be surprised to see it happen. Still it would take 1168, which would be second only to the 2020 record. And none of us want more lockdown. So I won't guess.
We are currently at 15 and counting....

Total number of completed projects: 14858 (as of right now)

We'll be hitting 15,000 with 142 more projects - I'd guess that would be in February. Should we have a friendly contest to guess the date of the 15,000th project cataloged?

During January, LibriVox volunteers completed 116 projects, bringing us to 116 total projects for 2021.

Note: This was our best January number ever, the next best being January 2015 at 102 projects.

Here are the detailed stats:

Total number of projects 15680
Number of completed projects 14948
Number of completed non-English projects 1918
Total number of languages 100
Number of languages with a completed work 44
Number of completed solo projects 7963
Number of readers 11041
...who have completed something 10784

And we are 52 completed projects away from 15,000!

And, that's 120 NEW readers who have completed something!
That averages out to about 4 new people every day.
I find that remarkable.

It has felt that much.

The number of brand new members who want to record a solo project straight off seems to have ballooned over the past month or two.

Just a small comment about a prospect of another small record. Last year there was a streak of 5 months with more than 100 books. November stopped at 97. So since December there is already 3 months with more than 100, and it looks that streak is likely to continue.

Congratulations to all readers!
