Hey everyone,
I am reading War and Peace Book XII Chapters 2-4 and in Chapter 3 there is a French colonel who brings some French phrases into the book (and an English translation is given after them.) Please help me out with how to say the following:

Michaud (the Frenchman's name)

quoique etranger, russe de coeur et d'ame

notre tres gracieux souverain

dont les flammes eclairaient sa route

I'm not going to try but I use
http://www.linguatec.net/onlineservices/voice_reader/

you type the phrase in and it is read - saves having to wait when I suddenly find something . Even offers French French or Canadian French as well as 2 Englishes and German and Italian and Chinese and Spanish and Mexican and Chech but not Greek

I'll have a go at the last two:

Nought Tre Tray Grass I (short - as in "bit") Er Sou (as in English "suit" without the "t") Vur (rhymes with "cur") An

Don Lay Flarm E (short as in "egg") Clare (rhymes with "bare") Aunt Sa (English "sat" without the "t") Root.

Hi iwyllpa,

Here are:

"Michaud,"

"quoique étranger, russe de cœur et d'âme",

"notre très gracieux souverain" and

"dont les flammes éclairaient sa route."
