Are we still doing this thing? Because it is a brilliant idea.

And, FWIW, I get about 80 hits a month on my sample-file ... so people
are interested.

Please would you add me to the wiki?
Name: Carol Box
Location: Surrey, South East UK
Accent: RP
Notes: A film director friend described my voice as light husky, bright yet mellow, compassionate and passionate, flowing...but I think he had an ear infection at the time! My first solo, a book of fairy tales, involved a cast of many character voices.

Thank you,
Carol

Oooh, do you have a catalogued file you can link to as a sample, Carol -- we'd rather not have eighty people a month downloading anything from the uploader.

Not to mention that when the project is catalogued the link will not work

I am so sorry, Cori and Anne
I am still not too familiar with the workings of these things.
Having listened to my earlier readings of poems I was quite horrified
, but the Child's Hymn I could live with, and I'm not in a rush - just saw that someone had posted there yesterday.
I shall re-apply once the collection is catalogued.
Thank you
Carol

I can pop you in now, Carol, without sample ... just post back here when you want it added.
(Or, if you're curious about downloads, you could put the file online yourself, using a free service like
http://ge.tt and then you get a bit of information about numbers. Though at the moment it just gives an overall count, no detail.)

Thanks Cori,
Ah! I was wondering how you knew yours is viewed so many times a month!
Thank you.

And done, both Carol and catrose (can you both please check your details, I'm not always spot-on with my copy&pasting.)
Carol, I host my file through my website, so I get monthly stats. I don't look very often, but I do like to know these things from time to time.
Mainly because the file isn't linked from anywhere else, so I know it is just visits from this page.

Can we sign on to the Accent Table if our recordings aren't actually up yet (because the book/dramatic reading isn't completed yet)?
