Holy cow. I was involved with LibriVox a few years ago (I contributed a chapter to The Secret Agent), but I had to put these activities on hold while I focused on my graduate studies. Full-time teaching and full-time studying left little room for anything else, I am sad to confess. You should see what it did to the conditions of my home and body. I take that back: You should NOT see what it did to the conditions of my home and body.
I will have my M.Ed. in my hot little hands within the next two weeks, so I am very eager to jump back in and contribute again. As I mentioned a long, long time ago, I teach at a small, private school in Honolulu whose primary focus is students with dyslexia. Projects like LibriVox are of enormous benefit to students like mine, who are bright but have difficulty reading.
I can't wait to dive in.
