I'm new to this, but game to try it. I love Dracula. I'd like Chapter 23, if it's available.

Ta,

wedschild.

hey I remember reading this book (you know, quietly) and not really liking it that much - but reading it aloud is fantastic. I think you pay so much more attentioon when you read aloud - maybe you get more into the physical of the story. not sure. but this is definitely a good one!

anyway, chaps 11-12 done, but I need to edit - I'll try for next monday.

Well, chapter 21 is sitting in the editing program even now, but I don't have time just this moment -- should be up in the near future, though; near enough that I'll go ahead and volunteer for chapter 25 in the interests in getting this book, well, booked. :)

That last bit is so true -- I think that in order to have a hope of conveying the emotional content of dialogue or monologue or whatever, you have to get into it in a way that you might not when reading, particularly if a style is a bit dry to you. I've never been an actor (despite my attempts to get into amateur voice acting), but I'd guess it's something like that, too. :)

I am reminded to post an apology to anyone actually from Europe for Van Helsing's "accent." :) (Trust me, you'll know what I mean once I post chapter 21. Which I'm editing now. Honestly!)

Hi, I would like to record Chapter 18, can do so straight away. Heard about this through the Dragonpage with Michael and Evo, it is a fantastic idea.

Okay, sign me up for chapter 17... I've done a short story and a poem, so I might as well try a chapter next!

Wow, Paula, you're almost fully subscribed! That's so cool. May I have one more before they're all gone? How about 24?
