I love dracula! With male and female readers playing various parts, it should be terific.
I can't wait for the librivox version of this book.
listened to an audiobook version of this a few months ago and enjoyed it a lot.
COMPLETE: Dracula, by Bram Stoker - AF/kr
Anyone interested in recording Dracula's Guest? It was taken out of Stoker's original novel by his publisher because it made the novel to long.
It was published a couple of years after his death as a short story. It is indeed in public domain.

It fits in around John Harker's jouney to Dracula's Castle
I think that it would be cool to incorperate this in its original spot in the book, if that can be done. It may have been modified to make it a complete story on its own, but then again, maybe it does fit in perfectly at some point.
listened to this story once, not sure exactly where it fits in.
Librivox may be able to present the complete novel by incorperating this seemlessly into the published version.

How about you, Yakumo? Why don't you record this, and we'll include it.Yakumo wrote:Anyone interested in recording Dracula's Guest? It was taken out of Stoker's original novel by his publisher because it made the novel to long.

BTW, I am uploading all but the last 3 files to my server and am going to be asking for listeners tomorrow. I have spot-checked all the files, and I must say that they are wonderful!
Stay tuned.

I want to thank everyone who worked on Dracula. You all did a fantastic job!
As a token of my appreciation, I'd like to give you all a little virtual gift, available at http://www.writingshow.com/writing_show_images/Garlic_public_domain.jpg

Not a problem. I'm surprised we're all still walking around considering how dangerous a protagonist we're dealing with. Hm, maybe he's not the protagonist, but you know what I mean.kayray wrote:Heehee!
Sorry the end of the catalog process is taking so long. I uploaded the files to archive.org last night but they still haven't derived so I just went in to derive them manually. So maybe tomorrow they'll be done...

Er, well, I do have a last name, which I mention all the time in my entries, as well as my wiki page.kayray wrote:It is now!earthcalling wrote:Is throatagonist a word?
