As new books are complted the Meta-cordinator will post in this thread. Volunteers may claim a Wikipedia entry by replying. When you have completed your Wikipedia entry, just edit your original message, then the coordinators will remove the posts to keep the thread clean.
Please edit both the author page and also the book/poem page if it exists. Put the link in the external links section where it best fits (sometimes different per author or book).
Examples for Wikipedia enteries are as follows:

*[http://librivox.org/a-connecticut-yankee-in-king-arthurs-court-by-mark-twain/ Free audiobook] of ''[[A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court]]'' from [http://librivox.org/ LibriVox]

Code: Select all
1. Go to the page you want to edit (typically there is a link to the author off of our catalog pages, which is how I get there easily without searching)
2. Click edit at the top of the page.
3. Edit the page by cutting and pasting the above examples into the external links section (near the bottom of the page) and changing the link and the title of the work. Some editing points:
a. [[text]] is an internal link to a Wikipedia article
b. [http://www.link.com text for link] is a link to an external site.
c. * is the start of bulleted list
d. ''text'' (double single quotes) empphasizes text (italics which I use for book titles)
4. Click preview until you get good to check your work.
5. Click submit to submit.
Also, you get over the fuzzy feeling and start thinking of it as your encyclopedia after a bit. That is the beauty of it.
I will continue to do the ones I can, but this will give others a chance to learn the Wikipedia, and to help in other ways than reading.
