Hi Everybody,

I'm new to Librivox--I just made three recordings for the latest short story collection--and I have a few questions:

1) Am I allowed to post the Librivox recordings I made on YouTube (under my channel name), and if so, should I keep or remove the "This is a LibriVox recording" tags at the start?

2) Am I allowed to post sections of my Librivox recordings as demos on my website (or the ACX website?)

3), If I'm not allowed to post my Librivox recordings anywhere, may I re-record the same exact material for use on my YouTube channel and as demos? (I'm assuming this one is a "yes," since this is all public domain... )

Thanks very much!

Hi Keely!

Yes, you can do whatever you want with your recordings, including removing or keeping the Librivox disclaimer.

Also, keep in mind that Librivox recordings are released in the public domain, which means that anyone can do whatever they want with them, not just you!
