~[GROUP/History] Mexico and the United States: a Story of Revolution, Intervention and War, by Frederick Starr (1858 - 1933)
Starr, being an anthropologist and a historian, visited Mexico extensively. As he wrote this book, a highly disruptive, deadly revolution was taking place across the nation, so Starr attempts to explain the circumstances leading to that event. He begins with the Centennial of Independence, then delves into the country's history starting with the Aztecs, and up to present day (1914). The point of view from both countries protagonists is also discussed as historic events are described. He states that "the US and Mexico are different, yet they are neighbors.", and ends with "They should be friends." (Summary by Mario Pineda)

Your MW is in place. I have removed the underscores in your file name except where they usually occur. As soon as you fill out the Section Titles in the MW, I will move us to Readers Wanted.
Best,
Christine

I would like to do the section entitled "Intervention," please. It is, I assume, the last, or next to last, section.

Thank you Christine! I've shortened the filename to make it less convoluted.

One question: Are we reading the introductory small print items at the beginning of each chapter? They seem to be the section headings that will be read during the chapter.

Hi Mark, no, we're skipping section subtitles.
Thanks for checking.

Sorry, I don't think I was clear enough before, so let me take another swing. I meant the long list right after the chapter name, for instance on page 33. I have been reading the section headers as I come across them in the text. I can edit them out before submitting if they are not supposed to be read at all.

Hi Mark, I believe that we're on the same page, and just to clarify, I'll take page 33 as an example:

Chapter name: "The Centennial". To be read.
Grouped Subtitles: "A Great Occasion - The Foreign Reps - Permanent Improvements, etc." NOT to be read.
Subtitles (on page 34): "A Great Occasion" and "The Foreign Representative". To be read as text progresses.

I trust that this clears up any confusion.

Regards!
Mario.
