Just one change needed before I can review this. Librivox requires MP3 files that are 128 kbps constant bit rate, and 44.1kHz sample rate, mono, and with a volume between 86 dB and 92 dB, preferably 89-90.
Your file is a .wav file. Please export it to MP3, reupload it, and post the link in a response to this post, and I'll come back and check it out.
Thanks,
Winnifred

That sounds good. Your voice is clear and animated and most of your settings are correct. However, the volume is just a touch too high. It's at 92.6 dB and it needs to be below 92 dB (acceptable range 86 - 92, with 89-90 being the ideal). Please bring that down a bit in Audition (sorry, I can't tell you how, as I don't know the program) and reupload the file for a final check.ShayanRahmati1 wrote: ↑April 23rd, 2024, 5:20 pmThank you for letting me know, here is the updated file. Thanks! Here is the updated file with a lowered volume. I believe it should fall in the range but if it doesn't let me know.Winnifred wrote: ↑April 23rd, 2024, 7:06 pmThat sounds good. And that one's perfect, at 89.6 dB. If you're wondering whether your volume is correct in future recordings, you can always download and use the free standalone tool Checker before you upload. Just drag your file into the top area of this interface.ShayanRahmati1 wrote: ↑April 24th, 2024, 9:51 pm

Members use this to check 1-minute tests and their own files. Look under the Information tab to see your detailed results.
If you want it to also show your Background Noise, select Validation > Choose Validation Methods, and tick the box for Background Noise. You only need to do this once.
The Checker reviews the last 5 seconds of silence in a recording to assess background noise (all Librivox recordings are required to have 5 seconds of silence at the end so they work properly in all media players).
I can now officially assign you that section of Where the Blue Begins. Do you want a different name in the catalogue than ShayanRahmati1? You can have whatever you like in the catalogue; most people have whatever they say in their recordings ("recorded by [Name]"), but it's up to you.
If you have questions along the way, the "Need Help? Got Advice?” forum is a useful place to get answers.
Happy reading!
Cheers,
Winnifred

Thank you! I will use Checker for my future recordings. Also "Shayan Rahmati" would be good for the catalog.Winnifred wrote: ↑April 24th, 2024, 10:03 pmAnd that one's perfect, at 89.6 dB.
