I received a private message regarding a specific poem - but I haven't been able to find it. My guess is it's not in the public domain, but maybe someone else can locate it and find out when it was first published?
Hello;

I'm looking for a poem titled Will. This poem was in my Literature book, Literature The Human Experience, in the early 1980's. The current version of this book does not have this poem. I have search online and nothing...You mind to ask your sources?
This poem is about a person's will to live. It is regarding suicide, and how some suicide victims are found, while others who are living life have their lives cut short.

thanks

There's a 1986 edition on Archive: https://archive.org/details/literaturehumane2051222abca

but I don't find a poem titled "Will" in there. The other editions on Archive are all later.

This poem, by a reasonably well-known female American poet who was sometimes included in anthologies, is entitled "Will." It doesn't seem to apply to suicides directly.

I'll keep looking. I have a few older anthologies of poetry in my collection.
