hey, first claim, thank you, Inkell. This title sounds like it's gonna be a wild west story, but I let myself be surprised

I will be surprised too, last time I waited too long thinking which I should pick so this time I just jumped in especially since quite a few have interesting sounding titles so we'll see what I got :)

 yes they are usually very quickly fully claimed. But to be honest, I haven't been disappointed by any of these stories yet, so whatever you take, I think it will be a good story. 8-)

glad to have you on board again, thank you Greg. Sounds like a military anecdote, hopefully a funny one

Hello Jaime and welcome to our forum and especially to this project. So cool to have a new voice in the Black Cat Magazine :D

Before you start recording though, we strongly advice to complete a one-minute-test first. This is to check that your technical settings are all up to LV standard.
You can read all about it here: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=1-Minute_Test
Please post the test in the test forum: viewforum.php?f=21 and someone will check it and give you feedback or advice if needed.

As soon as the test is ok'ed, please post the results back here, and then I can assign you the sections officially. For that I would need to open a personal reader page for you, so please also tell me which reader name you want to go by. Can be the same as the forum name or your real name, or whatever.

For the moment, I will reserve the sections for you for one month, to give you time to sort out the test. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. :)

Good luck with the test ! And thanks for your interest in this project.

Thank you so much for all of the support! This community is absolutely fantastic. I appreciate your reserving the spot for me while I get my audio okayed. You think can use JaiJai for my reader name! That's been my handle on various things for a long time, so it seems fitting to continue to use it.

I will get back to you once my audio test has been finished,
Jaime
