The Magic Nuts, by Mary Louisa Molesworth (1839 - 1921)
A delightful children’s story about Leonore, a little English girl, taken by her governess to Fraulein Elsa’s home town in an (unnamed) country where she meets Hildegarde, a little girl of her own age, who lives in a castle there. The girls each come into possession of three magic nuts, which open the doors to three enchanted adventures involving gnomes, air-fairies, and mermaids. (Summary by Winnifred Assmann)

Great, but you need to change the chapter numbers for chapters 1 and 2 or chapters 3-12. :)

Well, I’d set it up as a group project, but I wouldn’t object to having you take it on as a solo.

KiltedDragon, is there any reason we can’t do this? Do you need to do anything at your end? Or do I just assign all chapters to Anne?

Thanks,
Winnifred

If you want to let her do all the chapters, that is fine. We will just leave it as a group for now but I will move it to Readers Found after you add her.

Hi Anne,

Chapter 1 is delightfully read and PL OK. Your voice is perfect for this book.

I went back and amended the instructions for the intro. As it's now a solo, I think we can go with the usual abbreviated intro for subsequent chapters ("Chapter # of The Magic Nuts. This LibriVox recording is in the public domain. Chapter Title.") This will apply to Chapter 2 forward.

Cheers,
Winnifred

Thanks, Anne. In line for PL.

Yes, I'm not tempting fate yet either. Going to go look through some forums first to see if there are any unexpected issues. When I went from 3.3.x to 3.4.x, I had all kinds of problems, because Audacity and my iOS stopped playing nicely together. Fortunately, they rolled a fix out quickly, so I made the jump from 3.4 to 3.4.2 almost immediately, and haven't had any issues since.

Cheers,
Winnifred
