A search of Pearl Buck shows the following:

Pearl Buck (1892 - 1973)
Completed: 1 books | In progress: 1 books

Completed is The Mother. Can someone tell me which book is in progress? It does not show up in the list.

I don't see any projects in progress for her.

And when I do a forum search on "Pearl Buck", I only get the "Mother" project thread posts and some in Book Suggestions. So there are no sections submitted in in-progress compilations, either.

So, another case of the "in progress" number in the catalog being incorrect.
