All perfect, and I am very glad that you escaped unscathed from the pursuit of the playful puppies! (I'm sure if the puppies had understood French, they would have obeyed your every command immediately.)

urgh, he's such an ice-cold fish. He should have married frigid Geraldine, they would have been much better together. :? But well and pompously acted out  first act PL ok so far...looking forward to the rest

thank you

Filmer has more to say. Acts 2 and 3 in MW.

What a silly conversation ... and I discover I am not as perfect as I have assumed.

far from perfect...this whole family is awful to poor Nina. :(

I would definitely have Nina show the letters to the whole snobby family

Both acts perfectly acted out. At some points I really could hear you squirm.

PL ok, thanks

Filmer is through, in several senses of the word. Act 4 is in the MW.

yes, pride comes before the fall, it's good to eat a bit of humble-pie once in a while. Filmer is dutifully crestfallen at the end. Well done, and PL ok, thanks

I'm very glad you're continuing to BC these Pinero plays, Todd! Hopefully we'll have them all in the catalogue eventually.

wonderful portrayal, thank you David. Poor Dilnott, he was so chipper and hopeful when he started out, and he is quite subdued and sourly in the end. :(

Totally PL ok

I totally second that. I'm sure we will, if we can find all the scripts in a PD version.
