Israel and Hamas Conflict in Brief, by Jim Zanotti and Jeremy M. Sharp
This short report, written for the Congressional Research Service with the aim of informing U.S. legislative debate, covers the Israel-Hamas conflict and U.S. policy related to the war. A brief overview of the October 7th attacks and the subsequent Israeli campaign is provided. Additionally, the report discusses the Palestinian humanitarian crisis, areas of possible conflict expansion, and relevant political developments in Israel, Arab states, and international organizations. Most of the report centers on U.S. policy on the crisis from October 2023 through early February 2024 and potential future actions Congress could take to address the war.

This audiobook is a recording of Version 19 of Israel and Hamas Conflict in Brief. Version 19 was released in February 6, 2024 and is therefore only current up to that date.

• This project is now complete. All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/israel-and-hamas-conflict-in-brief-by-jim-zanotti/

This work is published by the Congressional Research Service so it is a product of the U.S. government and therefore in the public domain. For additional assurance, there is a disclaimer at the end stating that the document is in the public domain. :D

I know the report looks really short, but I was estimating (because the writing is so dense) that the final runtime would be just over what could be submitted for the Short Nonfiction Collection. I decided to err on the side of caution and just make it a solo.

MC and DPL most welcome :9:
