A brief overview of the October 7th attacks and the subsequent Israeli campaign is provided. Additionally, the report discusses the Palestinian humanitarian crisis, areas of possible conflict expansion, and relevant political developments in Israel, Arab states, and international organizations. Most of the report centers on U.S. policy on the crisis from October 2023 through early February 2024 and potential future actions Congress could take to address the war.
