Hi David,

Great reading, just a couple of things I should mention:

At 0:54 I'm hearing "Wretched as the leaves of thirst" instead of "Wrenched as the lips of thirst."

And also a very minor one at 1:36, I'm hearing "Swings" instead of "Swing."

- the mp3 format we need is not there, your file - MP3 Format: 256 kbps 48,000 Hz Mono
LibriVox recording settings: mono (1 channel), 44100 Hz sample rate, 128 kbps constant bit rate MP3. See the Tech Specs
- the filename is also not correct - Filename: derelict_kipling_your initials in lowercase_128kb.mp3 (e.g. derelict_kipling_klh_128kb.mp3)
*Please copy/paste the sample in the opening post (inserting your initials ) if your recording software inserts the extra mp3, delete if before uploading.
Please upload your new file with the corrections using the same (correct) filename.

The bitrate is now 64kbps (we need 128 kbps (constant) for cataloging), see TriciaG's comments here.

*Try using our Checker program - see info at http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Checker to check on the tech specs after saving/exporting a file.

Hi Tanisha, The file is still in stereo, and now the filename is incorrect. (there should only be one waveform in your recording)
- to get a mono recording - In Audacity select Edit | Preferences | Devices, then under Recording and and Channels select (1) Mono; this should remain the same unless you change the setting
*best you copy/paste the filename from the sample, inserting your own initials and saving/exporting - if 2 .mp3(s) show up after saving, simply delete one before uploading.
