What a treat!
Excellent reading and so easy to listen to.
Thank you!!
Only a few small things to take care of
SEC 43 - The opening silence is a bit over one second, so please trim it by about half a second, and the ending silence is close to seven seconds, and we need something closer to five seconds.
my file had <1sec at the beginning. I have no idea how these things work, but I trimmed it down as far as I dare, so hopefully it is ok now.
Oh, my apologies! I gave you the wrong Section number that needed trimming on the silences, so no wonder if you were confused. But, not to fear; I've taken care of everything, updated the MW and all are PL OK. Excellent job on editing Section 44!
Thank you for your contributions!
I do hope we'll hear your voice often.
Pronunciation is beyond Standard PL, but for future reference, the reptile Gila Monster, and the Gila River have an "h" sound at the beginning, as HEE-la. Spanish influence in the southwest U.S.
PL OK, EXCEPT the opening silence is too long at over three seconds.
Please trim this to something between 1/2 and no more than 1 second.
Upload with the same file name, post the new link and file length here again.
Thank you so much for a very nice reading of this chapter!
The only adjustments need are to the opening and ending silences. You can review the posted instructions, but at the beginning we need between .5 and 1.0 seconds, and you have about 2. At the end, there should be about 5, and I see around 4.
Just upload your corrected file under the same name, then post the URL and file length here again for a spot check.
I hop we will hear a lot more of your voice here on LibriVox.

I'm marking this PL OK.

Thank you for your contributions to this project.
Are you sure you don't want me to correct it? I've seen pronunciation corrected for standard PL if it makes it hard for readers to understand what you mean, Gila is one of those words I've only seen written so sorry that I got it wrong. Depends if you think it's better or worse than an obvious (I use a laptop, I can't leave my recording set up in place so it's different every time) but correct patch.
Also for the record I do have all my outstanding sections recorded, I just need to edit them (have a bit of an editing backlog at the minute because I've been busy recently)

Yep, it's a strange word, for sure. I'll leave the correction entirely up to you. I know how hard it is to do patches. Thanks for your consideration.
