A Year of Hymn Stories: A Primer of Hymnology, by Carl F. Price (1881 - 1948)
Carl F. Price, a pioneering hymnologist, historian, and author, presents 52 stories of hymns from the Methodist Sunday School Hymnal to introduce students to the great music of the church, The hymns range from those by familiar hymnologists such as Charles Wesley and Isaac Watts to lesser known writers such as Martin Rinkart, and Henry Kirke White.. These hymns roughly fallow the Methodist church year including Sundays for "Missionary," "Temperance," "Children's Day," etc, and the major holidays of the year. With just a few more sections to go on One Hundred and One Hymn Stories, I thought we would do one of Price's earlier works of hymn stories. There is some overlap, but still some different material.

I really enjoyed listening to the wonderful readers of the previous work. And, since the pieces were short, it attracted many new readers. Your selections always seem to attract people who turn out to do excellent jobs. must be something in the water.

Hi Team, I will MC again. Just a note before we begin. I would like you to hold the readers to fixing their filenames if there is an error.
Thanks so much,
Christine

Well it gave me a different number so I got confused and put my number in. Is that a problem?
